Maneesha Doshi was born in 1962 at Ahmedabad. She did her bachelor's degree in Psychology (1984 -86) before obtaining her diploma and post diploma at the Faculty Of Fine Arts, M.S. University of Baroda, specializing in painting. She has also worked at Kanoria Centre For Arts at Ahmedabad and at a workshop in Fontainebleau in France.
